Customised corporate gifts in Dubai: one order, several brands
A group buying customised corporate gifts in Dubai pays from AED 70, 90 or 110 per candle excluding VAT for 100, 200 and 300 ml, and the 300-piece minimum is counted per size rather than per brand. So several subsidiaries can sit inside one order, each with its own label, and the discount is calculated on the whole order.
Group gifting lists rarely come from one place. The hospitality arm has travel partners, the contracting arm has consultants, the property arm has brokers, and group HR has the staff list. Different quantities, different logos, and a different person approving each one.
This is easier to buy than most groups expect, because the branding sits on the jar and on the box. One order can carry several brands without each brand turning into an order of its own. Our corporate gift programmes are quoted per unit, with the minimums and the discount steps published, so a buyer can work out the group total before asking anyone for a price.
How a group order for customised corporate gifts is put together
The floor is 300 pieces per size, and in a group order that number is reached by the size rather than by the company. Three subsidiaries that all take 200 ml bring 400, 300 and 300 pieces to the same size, and they clear the floor together. If one of them wants 300 ml instead, that size needs its own 300.
That rule decides most of the structure. A company inside the group that only needs 150 gifts has a few ways around it without becoming a separate order: round up to 300 and keep the balance for the next handover, or move onto the size another brand is already taking. Rounding up costs less than it looks, for a reason the discount section works through below.
| Size | Jar finishes | Burn time | From, excl. VAT |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 ml | clear | about 25 hours | AED 70 |
| 200 ml | clear, black matte, white frosted | about 35 hours | AED 90 |
| 300 ml | clear, black matte, white frosted | about 45 hours | AED 110 |
The per-unit price covers the jar, a standard wick, the soy wax, a lid in bamboo or metal, and one fragrance. Stickers, print on the jar, kraft and printed boxes and fabric pouches are add-ons with their own per-unit rates, published next to the base prices.
One constraint to plan around: 100 ml comes in a clear jar only. Black matte and white frosted sit in 200 and 300 ml, so a group that wants a different jar finish per company has to stay in the two larger sizes.
Volume is rarely the limit. We supply up to 15,000 candles a month, more by arrangement, so a four-brand programme of a few thousand pieces fits inside one month of capacity.
If one subsidiary wants something other than a candle, reed diffusers run at the same AED 70, 90 and 110 per unit for 100, 200 and 300 ml, from 300 pieces per size, with the bottle, the reeds, the lid and one fragrance included. There is also a candle and diffuser set in one box.
A label for each brand, and what it costs in days
Branding goes on as a sticker or as print around the jar, with foil in gold, rose gold or silver as another finish. The difference that matters to a group is the clock: stickers are a week after written approval, print around the jar is 10 to 14 working days.
A printed design starts at 300 pieces. Any company in the group that wants its own printed jar therefore needs 300 of a size to itself, and three printed brands start at 900 pieces.
Stickers are the route that lets a smaller brand travel with a bigger one, because different labels can sit on the same jar. There is no published per-design minimum for stickers, so send us the split by brand and we will confirm it against your actual numbers rather than leave you planning around a guess.
Where a subsidiary intends to sell the candle rather than give it away, that is private label work, and the brief runs longer.
Inside a group the slowest item to approve is almost always the printed box. A sticker gets signed by whoever runs the gifting; a printed box tends to need each company's brand team, and four brand teams do not answer on the same day.
How the discount works when the brands buy unequal amounts
The published steps are 5 per cent from 1,000 units, 7.5 per cent from 3,000 and 10 per cent from 5,000, counted on units in the order. An uneven split between brands changes nothing: 400 plus 300 plus 300 is treated the same as 1,000 from a single company.
Take that split as an example, priced on the candles alone so the arithmetic stays readable. Two brands take 200 ml, 400 and 300 pieces, which is 700 at AED 90, so AED 63,000. The third takes 300 pieces of 300 ml at AED 110, so AED 33,000. The order is 1,000 units and AED 96,000 excluding VAT, and the first discount step brings it to AED 91,200.
Now drop the third company to 200 pieces. Its 300 ml line misses the 300 floor, and if those 200 pieces move to 200 ml the order becomes 900 units of a single size: AED 81,000 at list, with no step reached. Adding 100 pieces takes it to 1,000 units, AED 90,000 at list and AED 85,500 after 5 per cent. The extra hundred candles cost AED 4,500, which works out at AED 45 each against a list price of AED 90.
The 1,000 mark matters for delivery too. Below it, delivery outside Dubai carries a surcharge; from 1,000 units it does not.
This is also the argument against chopping a year into small orders. A group that buys 300 pieces a quarter in four separate orders never reaches the first step, while the same 1,200 pieces bought once do. If quarterly handovers are the plan, say so when you ask for the quote, so the commercial shape is agreed before anyone starts on artwork.
One fragrance for the group, or one per brand?
More than 150 fragrances sit in six families, and a group order can run on one of them or on several.
One fragrance across the whole order is the cheapest to manage: one scent decision, one reorder line, and samples that vary only by label. Different fragrances can share the same design, so a group can keep a single jar look and split scents behind it, with the split inside a design confirmed on the quote.
Giving each company its own fragrance costs you in approvals rather than in the unit price. Four scent choices mean four internal conversations, and that is where year-end orders usually lose their week.
A simpler way to split is by recipient instead of by brand. 100 ml, around 25 hours of burn time, suits staff lists. 200 ml goes to clients. 300 ml, around 45 hours, goes to the people whose gift gets noticed.
Either way, the fragrance and the jar colour are confirmed on the sample rather than on a screen.
One invoice for the holding, or one per company?
Payment terms are published: 50 per cent to start, 50 per cent before dispatch. How the paperwork is cut, one invoice to the holding or one per subsidiary, is a question to settle in writing when the quote is issued, alongside who signs each brand's artwork.
The commercial question underneath it is whether the brands buy as one order. The ladder counts units in the order, so four companies taking 300 pieces each in one order sit at 1,200 units, while the same four buying separately sit at 300 each with no step reached.
Ask for the quote to be laid out per brand: company, size, quantity, branding route, packaging and the per-unit price. Anyone who has to recharge four cost centres needs that breakdown anyway, and it is easier to agree at quote stage than to reverse out of a single total later.
Delivery across the group's offices, and shipments outside the UAE
Delivery inside Dubai is included. Across the rest of the UAE it is free from 1,000 units and carries a surcharge under that. Saudi Arabia and the other GCC countries are priced on request, and there is no free shipping line outside the UAE.
For a group spread across emirates, the useful thing to put in the brief is the drop list: how many addresses, which emirate each one is in, and whether every address takes only its own brand's cartons. One drop to a head office with internal distribution afterwards is the simplest version. Several drops are a quote question rather than an obstacle. Group orders often land before anyone is ready to hand them out, so keep the cartons out of direct sun while they wait.
Sample, approval and the dates that bind
A sample with your own sticker is AED 100, credited against an order from 300 pieces. Each brand's label is its own sample, so a four-brand group approving four labels puts AED 400 into samples and gets it back on the order.
After written approval, stickers take a week and print around the jar takes 10 to 14 working days. Work backwards from the handover date, then add the time your own side needs to collect four sets of artwork and four approvals. In group orders that internal step is usually longer than ours, and it is the one nobody budgets for.
Put the dates in writing before artwork starts: the day each brand's artwork is signed, and the day the cartons have to be at each address. Everything else follows from those. Certificates and documents are available on request.
Send the split by brand, size and quantity, along with the drop list, through the quote form or on WhatsApp at +971 55 281 9889. The quote comes back laid out per company, so each one can see its own line.
FAQ
What is the minimum order for a group of three brands? The floor is 300 pieces per size. If each company wants its own printed jar, a printed design also starts at 300 pieces, so three printed brands start at 900. If they share a size and carry their own stickers, the 300 floor still applies to the size, and we confirm the per-label split against your brief. The discount ladder is separate and starts at 1,000 units across the order.
Can each company have a different fragrance? Yes. Different fragrances can share one design, so each brand can keep the same jar with a different scent, or go its own way entirely. How the fragrances split inside a design is confirmed on the quote, and both the fragrance and the jar colour are confirmed on the sample before anything goes to print.
How is the volume discount calculated on a joint order? On units in the order rather than per company: 5 per cent from 1,000 units, 7.5 per cent from 3,000 and 10 per cent from 5,000. A split of 400, 300 and 300 pieces reaches 1,000 the same way one company taking 1,000 would. The quote shows the figure for your exact mix of sizes, branding and packaging.
What does the AED 100 sample include, and does it come off the order? A candle with your own sticker label, at AED 100, credited against an order from 300 pieces. Each brand in the group needs its own sample, because each label is a separate approval.
Can one order be delivered to several offices? Yes. Delivery inside Dubai is included. Across the other emirates it is free from 1,000 units and carries a surcharge below that, so send the drop list with the quantities and the quote will reflect it. Saudi Arabia and the rest of the GCC are priced on request.
